Exploring Citizens' Motives influencing the satisfaction with and adoption of E-Government Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract

This article explores the motives citizens would adopt electronic government services in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Using a qualitative research, the study examines the citizens' overall evaluation of e-Government and investigates the critical factors underlying e-Government success, their impacts on users’ satisfaction and e-Government adoption. Findings showed that e-Government success hinges on the users’ characteristics and their perception of the e-Government portals’ features. Moreover, results revealed that eleven factors influence citizens’ satisfaction and e-Government adoption success. In light of the outcomes, advices to support e-Government adoption were formulated and suggestions for future research are presented.
